Pastel Nutcracker Concept Drawing to Final Digital Illustration

In this video, I share the design and drawing process for my Pastel Nutcracker Kings digital illustration. I start by searching for some inspiring reference pictures and then begin the concept sketch. Next, I block in color. The fun thing about drawing digitally is being able to quickly tryout different color pallets, but I knew I definitely wanted to create this image with soft pastel colors. I then add in the highlights, apply the  shadows and finish with all the details. I hope you enjoy this winter wonderland scene!
